Music in my ears

While I was in my slumber

a musical note touched my ears

it rubbed it lite then caressed with touch

it slowly purred around till my ears started to grow

they felt like lips with odd smiles

while one ear swallowed the floating note

I started to rock my head in ecstasy

not knowing why my head felt so numb

Unaware I was shaking my head as

 if shaking the note in or shaking it out

I traced this back in  my thoughts

I was drifting in the room and swirled next to you

I was floating on your piano like a cloud

while you sang my eyes were glued

while my ears were flushed

Agony in my heart I could not move

I was glazed in my dreams while you looked distraught

I cried and yelled but my shout was unheard

I did not know whether I was dead or a ghost of past

Or was I still alive in your song
